Mr. Joshua Gold
is the principal of Mido Capital Advisors, which he founded to provide unique family office investment and advisory services. He advises clients on investing in fund and direct real estate opportunities by focusing on sourcing and underwriting unique investments that deliver attractive risk adjusted returns, tailored to each investors’ risk tolerance and investment horizon. Joshua currently advises clients and oversees more than $100MM in equity investments across various asset classes, capital structures and geographies representing over $2.5BN in GAV’s.
Additionally, Joshua has served as co-Chief Investment Officer for more than 15 years for a US based family and oversees the family’s existing real estate investment portfolio in the US and internationally. The real estate owned portfolio includes both ground up development and acquistion of existing assets in the retail, office and residential spaces totalling over 2.5MM square feet and more than 2,000 units as well as various fund investments. Mr. Gold holds a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Business.
Mr. Darryl J. Seavey
is vice president and managing director of acquisitions for a prominent nationwide housing and investment firm, and is responsible for property acquisitions in the Northeast United States, including New York City. Darryl’s background includes originating, developing, and managing all phases of affordable housing developments, including coordinating terms for debt, equity and government subsidies. Prior to this role, he served as managing director for the Northeast United States for a major national syndicator.
Prior to that, he served as assistant and, later, deputy commissioner of the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal. Mr. Seavey holds a bachelor’s degree from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School.
Mr. Brad M. Tomtishen
is an attorney with over forty years’ experience serving primarily as counsel to clients involved in business transactions in which questions of real estate finance, structuring, and federal taxation predominate. Mr. Tomtishen has extensive experience advising organizations and individuals with respect to all aspects of real estate and has represented an institutional real estate investor with respect to the offering of over $14 billion of equity interests in acquisition of interests in almost 2000 properties.
Mr. Tomtishen graduated from the University of Michigan in 1983 with a Juris Doctor degree and a Master of Arts degree in applied economics. He received his undergraduate degree from Oakland University in 1979 in management with a concentration in accounting. Mr. Tomtishen passed the Certified Public Accountant examination in 1979.
